✧House✧

Hufflepuff is the house that is underestimated by the other three houses. Their enblem is the badger, whom in turn is often underestimated as well. For badgers live quietly until they are attacked or provoked, after which they can fight off animals much larger then themselves. The house colors are yellow and black, and the common room lies one floor below the ground, on the same corridor as the kitchens.

Hufflepuff is the least boastful house, and has produced quite a few brilliant withces and wizards such as Grogan Stump and Newt Scamander. Even though Hufflepuff is quite proud, they do not shout about it. They won't get the credit they might deserve. Just like the badger they live quietly unless provoked, after which they become a dangerous enemy. Hufflepuffs are trustworthy and loyal. Although they do not boast, whenever there is any peril, they will protect themselves, their friends and families. They are not easily intimidated.

Hufflepuff was the only house that did produce the fewest Dark Wizards. Hufflepuffers are known to be friendly and decent. They are loyal, patient fair, hardworking and true to themselves and others. Their house ghost is the friendliest of them all;the Fat Friar. He is plump and wears monk's robes, and is very helpful if you get lost or are in any kind of trouble.

shyAryana has never been an outspoken or outgoing person. Despite the fact that she could share most things with her father, she just doesn’t feel like doing so. She has a hard time expressing her thoughts and feelings, especially when asked. She guards her feelings almost like a professional, though one can always see when she is uncomfortable. She is used to caring for herself since her mother passed away, which is why she never felt like grabbing the spotlight, instead she tried to help her father as much as possible without gathering his attention. This makes her very easy-going as well. She has no need to speak much, instead she can rely on her instincts. It is the way she prefers things, by not being questioned too much. intelligentAryana might be silent but she is extremely smart. While she is a different kind of intelligent then most people her age, she can remember a lot of information. Information about places for example and remembering faces. Which can help her trust the right people at the right time. Her wisdom isn’t only fact-based, it is mostly based on her experiences. Experiences that shaped and formed her in the person she is today. hasty Aryana is always busy with something. She feels the need to do something, which is important to survive the unruly home of her father. She can’t just sit and do nothing for a long period of time. To keep her mind occupied she prefers to work hard or play games. Aryana has trouble sitting in large groups, for it is difficult to keep an eye on many people at the same time. She also doesn’t like being alone in a silent place for too long, as it won’t keep her thoughts from straying towards negative things. She prefers not to overthink things, instead she wishes to act fast and with confidence. Thinking won’t help the situation in any way. That being said, Aryana isn't the most confident girl. Her way of dealing with things fits with the way most Hufflepuffers act. controlling Aryana is very controlling about some things. She has to have a schedule which she uses to live her day to day life. She is afraid of letting go of structure, especially if that means that she or others she cares about can get hurt. She feels very responsible about a lot of things. The easiest way to be sure that nothing out of the ordinary or nothing dangerous can happen is to keep it under tight control. easy-going Aryana knows a lot about people. Her father was a remarkable teacher for that, with his somewhat unresponsible behavior. Some people might think she looks straight through them, because her eyes are like mirrors. She has a great understanding about some grown-up things and dangers. Aryana knows the possible reactions of people when for example someone has been hurt or something is stolen. She knows the dangers of getting close to people that are working hard to make a living through illegal things. She prefers to stay on neutral ground and keep herself (and others) from fighting. insecure Aryana is known to be very insecure about herself and others. She is very careful in whom she trusts and even though she hasn’t got a hard time in understanding others and their priorities for someone her age, she still has trouble telling others how she feels about things. Aryana doesn’t want others to worry about her and keeps many things silent because of that. Unless she has no other choice then speaking about her worries, she doesn’t do so. Besides that plenty of people say one thing and do the exact opposite which is really confusing for her at times, which makes her very insecure about her own being. withdrawn Aryana has learned through her experiences that it is best to withdraw oneself if there is a possible dangerous situation. If she is in a crowded place she most certainly will stay close to one she can trust, or knows. She also fears intimacy which means that she remains on a clear distance from those that try to touch her, even if it is a friendly touch; especially around men she is a little skittish. She is known to fear certain social things and suffer from nightmares. Which makes her a little more independent as well.

✧History✧

Aryana Lilian Miller was born to a pureblood wizard and a muggle. Even though her father knew about the fact that Rhoswen was a witch he had trouble accepting it. As such a no magic rule was accounted for in and around the house. A few years into the relationship they got their first and only child, Aryana. As she was a halfblood it was no surprise that she had also some magic in her blood. As such strange things happened whenever she was emotianally unstable. Her father couldn't handle this very well and tried to instill the rule upon his young daughter as well. This behaviour made for a lot of fights, between her father and mother. As a two year old she was not old enough to understand the problems her father and mother faced with living in the muggle world. Where witches and wizards were hidden. Her mother loved the muggle world as well as her own magical world, and had no trouble living with her husband in a world void of magic, unless her tried to impress his wishes too strongly upon their little girl.

Around the time that Aryana was three years old, her mother passed away due to an accident with magic. This made her father's no magic rule even stronger. He felt that magic was a danger to his family and promised himself to keep their daughter safe from it. However much he wished that she was normal, Aryana was a witch. The incidents with her magic happened frequently now and without her mother to learn her a few things, her father had to make up lies and stories to keep people from finding out the truth about magic. As a consequence Aryana grew up with the believes that magic equeled danger, and that she was to be as normal as possible.

By the time Aryana was five years old,wile  growing stronger and more experienced she had learned to hide the magic. Around that time her  father explained the accident her mother had been in to her. Making her promise him to never use magic, to keep it deep within her and stay away from Howarts. As naive and innocent as she was, the girl did not expect it to be such a problem. One night however while the house was on fire the little child used magic, uncontrolled as it were, to safe herself. It was during that fire that her father died. Aryana went to live with her aunt and uncle, the sister from her father as she was placed into their custody.

Years went by and even though her aunt and uncle were nice to her, they didn't understand the strange accidents and happenings that kept happening around the young girl. She was known to be a freak, someting that hurt her feelings. Her nieces and nephews didn't take to her in the same kind way as their parents did, which made her life a horrible place and started her nightmares. Especially her nephews were horrible, and hurtful. Wishing her to be dead, just like her parents. As years went by, her magic grew stronger and after her eleventh birthday she got an invitation to go to Hogwarts and without any doubt and worry for her safety she was send away. As her aunt and uncle felt that it might be a better place for her. Aryaa still remembered her fathers fear for magic and as such she is prone to fear some things at Hogwarts as well.
