Alix lived with knowledge about the wizard world, but grew up with Muggles. Only she, her sister and father are wizards and for that her mother wanted her to live as a Muggle before going to Hogwarts.

It was tough, growing up in the Jones family. Mister Jones isn't the most loving father or husband and he wanted his daughters to be at their very best, every day. Never showing weakness, never showing any emotion for that matter. Alix and her siblings tried their best to be the perfect children, as their mother tried to be the perfect wife. Because of this, Alix find it hard to show her emotions other than happiness.
When Alix was invited to Hogwarts, she felt really proud. But her father wasn't that pleased, for he knew she wasn't going into Slytherin. When the Sorting Hat called out Ravenclaw, the girl felt twisted. Proud to be smart enough to get into Ravenclaw, but afraid she let her father down,- again.

*Alix found out she likes girls as well as boys when she had her second year at Hogwarts. Never told her parents, knowing her father wouldn't accept it.
