Childhood
As the only child of a Korean expat and an Irish native, Jade was blessed with the best of both worlds. She had the opportunity to enjoy both of the wonderful cultures. Both of her parents were very loving and in fact wanted another child after Jade, but her mother couldn’t have any more children. It came in as a hit for the woman, since she was quite young. But she bounced back and took care of her family in the best way she could. As far as working went for her parents, here father had a nice little bakery and her mother was in fact a well known fortune teller. So yes, Jade eventually got her magic from her mother. The bound the three had was inseparable. Which continued in her further life too.
Jade didn’t actually have many friends while she was little. Probably because she looked different then all the others. But the little girl didn’t mind. She had a very vivid imagination, which led to her having imaginary friends and adventures. In the end she had made few friends tho, just some people from school who actually saw further then their differences. The girl was thriving when she had social contact. She developed some leader ship qualities, always the first one to dive into a situation.
 
Early teens
When she was eleven years old, she received her letter to Hogwarts. Her mother was over the moon excited. Her father not so much, but that was mainly because he wouldn’t want to say goodbye to his little girl. As soon as the year started the little girl headed off to London to take the train and start her long expected journey. Reaching the castle, she had already made a few friends on the train, being the social butterfly she is. The sorting hat had put her into Gryffindor, the house of the lion. The exact animal that she with what she compared herself with since she was a tiny human. The girl couldn’t be happier. With a warm welcome she started her year, enjoying that same warmth the whole year through. In her first year already the youngster had made lots of friends. She helped everyone out where she could and payed attention in class to succeed her first year.
