When being the oldest child of a prestigious pure blood Slytherin line and a Lady from a Scottish pure blood Ravenclaw line, you would expect to meet quite high expectations. That was not quite the case when it came to Keiron. His parents didn't quite care that much about all the prestige their families were so proud of. Yes, they taught him and his younger brother how to pose as the children their family expected them to be. However, outside of family meetings the two boys were free to do as they pleased. When Keiron was only a few years old his parents figured that something was off about their oldest son. Not the fact that he was a wizard of course, that much was obvious, but there was something else going on with him.

Around the time Keiron recieved his Hogwarts letter his parents found out what had been going on. It was very likely that the boy was a seer with pretty much no control over his powers. Thankfully, as rich as his family was, they had a lot of resources to help him develop and control his powers. He obviously still lacked control when he entered Hogwarts. He was sorted in Ravenclaw and had no particular troubles with any subject as long as he managed to properly concentrate during class. Which wasn't always the easiest thing to do considering he wasn't really intrested in most subjects. His seer training continued during the breaks and slowly he started to gain a little more control. He wasn't a fan of his powers though, they took a lot of effort so he skipped his practise when he saw fit.

Everything seemed to go just fine until just before he entered his thirth year at Hogwarts. It was the year his younger brother, Lucian, recieved his Hogwarts letter. He had gone shopping with his father for the nessecerities while Keiron had gone ahead to Hogwarts. He didn't like the crowds so he made sure to be settled before the other students came. Keiron was confused that he couldn't find his little brother in the crowd during the Sorting Hat Ceremony. It was confusing until he recieved a letter. Brought to him not by an owl but by his mother's crow. The letter explained how his father and brother had died in an accident while on their way to London. For a few days Keiron went home to be with his mother but he had to return to Hogwarts to resume his studies soon after.

Keiron focussed on his ability now more than ever. If only he had practised more often, then maybe he could have forseen what would happen to his father and brother. Maybe he could have warned them. Now all he could do was regret it. It was on one of those nights, he was out alone and staring at the night sky in order to induce his seer powers. He couldn't be more surpised by the Head Girl of his house visiting him. Something he never expected was that Camilla would be interested in his powers. After all, hardly anyone knew about them. And if they did, they usually lost intrest when he told them he couldn't decide anything about what to see yet.

Camilla gave him a place on Hogwarts. Where he had no friends at first, he now had a few people that were, at least, agreeable. He had people who were willing to help him practice. His time at the school grew a lot more enjoyable. During the next few years, he gained more control over his powers. At some point he even started little gambles with people who didn't know about him being a seer. Since he still didn't have much control, the odds usually were only slightly in his favor. But it was fun to him, he actually started to enjoy himself. During his final two years he started to put a little more effort in his school subjects in order to get himself a proper job.

Keiron ended up filling a vacant position at the Ministry of Magic. His new department became the Department of Mysteries, his job in the Hall of Prophecies. The fact that he was already a seer himself made him the best candidate for the job. Yet, it wasn't really a full time job so given his amount of spare time he was frequently made to help other departments. Out of the different departments he found his spot mostly at the Auror Office where he was asked to research, predict and assist when it came to planning. He hardly ever went out into the field considering he lacked the training an actual auror had and that would put him and the mission at risk. Eventhough his seer powers became stronger and more accurate, he could never predict with any kind of certainty that nothing would happen.
