An embarassing moment

Luck was this time on her side.
The girl only woke up because of the screeching of an owl. With a scowl on her face, Eris slowly opened one eye, searching for her owl that was supposed to be with her parents and not here. Did her parents send her a letter? ‘ugh..” she laid her pillow on her head, trying to ignore the stupid owl. After a good 10 mins of the owl screams, Eris finally gave up. Grumbling and cursing the stupid animal, in return it bit in her finger making her mood even worse than it already was. “Stupid animal, no treat for you!” Her temper rising because of her rude awakening. “So what does mom want now.” Her eyes scanned the lines. With each sentence the crystal blue eyes of the slytherin girl became wider and wider. “ oh no… she didn’t…!” Her head cocked so fast to the left that it could have given her a whiplash.
“Fuck!” It was time for breakfast. Meaning the owls will be delivering the students their letters. Eris badly wanted to first jump in her clothes, yet she didn't. There was not enough time. So being the uncaring girl she was, just puts her slytherin robe over her green velvet pyjama and ran as fast as she could to the big hall. Students watched her run through the halls on her bare feet. Yet Eris really didn’t care. It wasn’t important enough right now. AFter arriving at the two big doors Eris tried to catch her breath while searching for that on student. 3 seconds she saw him and began to run again. “ Adrian Parker!” Her voice was rather loud, making sure that he would hear her over the noise of all the others. “ Don’t you fucking dare open that letter!” Here was Eris catching the attention of a lot of students, probably even a few professors. She wasn’t paying attention to her surrounding. Without any shame the blond girl jumped on his back, grabs the letter and pulling it out of his hands. Immediately after having it safe in her hands, Eris could finally catch her breath yet keps a safe distance from Ady. “Sorry hotstuff, this letter is not for you.” A cheeky smile played on her lips.

It had been a good week, the boy thought. The first week after the Christmas holidays. Adrian had thought he would've had it difficult after his breakdown. But it actually went really well. They had some homework but it helped him to distract his thoughts. The first half of the schoolyear had been chaotic, with a lot of new people meeting and having the Winter Ball. The Slytherin shivered of the memory of the ball. It had been nice with his date but he just wasn't made for stuff like that. He was more looking forward to Iceskating that week.
Adrian sat down at the Slytherin table, eating his breakfast. He was casually talking with one of the other Slytherin students. Sometimes he could enjoy the company of another person. Ever since his breakdown, he had more control over his fear. Until it would go wrong again, he knew he wasn't over it. He just had a better moment for a while. The hunderds owls screeching was the sign of post coming in. The boy wasn't expecting anything so he was surprised to see an owl land in front of him. At first he ignored the animal until it pecked the Slytherin's hand. The boy took the letter and gave the owl some bacon before it left off.
Even if he wanted to read the letter right away, he barely had the chance. Het had put down the letter to eat his breakfast when some one made tumult in the Great Hall. People were laughing, talking and pointing when he heard his name. Adrian stopped his fork halfway to his mouth when he looked up. A kind of furious looking Eris walked his way. As far as he could see, she was still in her pyjama's and wearing her Slytherin robe on top of that. “ Don’t you fucking dare open that letter!”, she exclaimed and he looked from the girl to his letter and felt the temptation to open it up. So he reached for it when the girl litteraly jumped on his back. "Jesus Christ, you insane?", he mumbeled while he tried to get her off his back. She got her hands on his letter and got off him. “Sorry hotstuff, this letter is not for you.”, he frowned and stood up. He was a head taller then the girl and he felt kind of angry. "Hotstuff?", he said first but shook that off. "For fuck sake Eris, that's mine, just give it back", he said threatening, realising they were still in the Great Hall, all eyes on them.

And she would bow to no one
The blond girl really had hoped that the day would go without any drama. She had finally fallen asleep. It may only be a couple of hours, it was still better than nothing. Thanks to make-up the dark circles under her eyes weren't visible. Yet her crystal blue eyes were just a tad bit duller. In the beginning, she had tried using pills to fall asleep, it did work when she just started. Sadly it seemed her body was turning immune to it.
Her hopes of a day without drama was ignored. The letter that had been sent from her mother made sure of that. Eris her mother had written to her to explain that she invited Adrian for dinner. The had to be kidding right? Just because he went with her to the ball, didn't mean he has to meet her parents. He wasn't her boyfriend! What if he tells her mother that he actually was threatened to go with her... Those thoughts alone met her act immediately.
Maybe she should have thought it through instead of just barging into the great hall. Especially by jumping on his back. Bet she looks like a cavewoman... But hey she got the letter! The girl was smart to keep her distance from the Slytherin buy. She really hated how he was so much taller than her. It made her neck hurt. "Nu-uh!" she kept the letter close to her chest " You won't get it, it isn't yours anyway"With those words, the girl turned around and ran out of the hall, away from all those watchful eyes. "Where can I hide.." The blond girl knew she had to work on her stamina again. The girl could hear him running behind her. "Damn you with your long legs!" Shouted the girl without looking back. When reaching a corner she immediatly hides behind it. Hoping he wouldn't have seen her go there or just ran passed her. For a few seconds Eris just holds her breath. Only when she didn't hear his footsteps anymore, did she dare to walk from the wall. Only to crash against someones chest. A gasp left her lips when she fell on the ground. "O-oh... Hi Adrian... didn't see you there" Her cheeks became red of embarresement.
